I feel like the author attempts to make an effort to show the benefits of big government sector cities, but what it really appears to show is arrogance. While other cities are sacrificing and paying the price, the government once again shows that it cannot make those same sacrifices.

The Monticello Civics Group is a non-profit organization whose purpose is education about the proper role of government, the people’s responsibility as citizens and how to be part of the process. We welcome all political affiliations to our meetings, which are held the second Thursday of each month at the County Building.
